Have you met Carnitas? I stumbled on this video about a month ago and have become this little guy's biggest fan.  Ridiculously cute. There are other videos out there. Yes, I want a mini pig like now!

My weekend was filled with pigs it seems. I went antiquing with the family and saw this darling steampunk pig.

But the pièce de résistance was that I was able to go to my first ever pig roast. I was very weary about eating something with its face still on. I'm not going to lie, it was crazy...with its wee beady eyes..

WARNING - LOOK AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE A WHOLE PIG COOKED

I'll admit, it was yummy. Thank you pig

My daughter going for some pig tongue?! Who is this child?

Green Doors

Oh my friends...here in the States most of us will be enjoying a long well deserved weekend. Monday is Labor Day. I will be going to a pig roast this weekend and hopefully letting some creative juices flow. Till then...

Nathalie Lete

Nathalie Lete's work is romantic. There is a rhythm and beauty that satisfies my senses. How could I not like the vintage French vibe her pieces show. She takes me to a childhood I wish I had. You can find her work in the states at Anthropologie stores. Her morsels are sublime and inventive. I would love to live in that fairy-tale.

I might hurt someone to get a hold of that dress

Thank you SFGirlbybay for the nudge

Anthropologie Knock-off Ideas Part Deux

My most popular posts here at the Rue is about Anthropologie.  Such a coveted brand for so many of us creative minds out there and yet so unattainable. I thought it was about time to show you some more clever folks out there who are making it affordable.
