Rustic Kitchens

I don't know why I am attracted to rustic kitchens so much. Maybe it's because I want to feel like the meal I have been preparing is as easy as life was then. I like my kitchens lived in, with people crowding around and laughing. It is no fair when the person cooking has to be alone in a little box. The great thing is that they never go out of style and while it may seem that it is a simple design, it is far from it.

My next house will be rustic(er)...

I want distressed wood and a deep sink and oooh those yellow stools would be fun...

Great suggestions and examples, especially for a newbie like myself who lacks a natural sense of web design.

That is a beautiful arbor! Wow, your hubby is a darling for building it. My own hubby cleaned up my whole potting bench and area yesterday so I'm not complaining, still, I wish I had an arbor like that!

Can't wait to see it after you've "twigged" it.

The use of wood as the main material in your kitchen is really nice. It gives a natural atmosphere which is suitable for the kitchen since you are preparing food here. The rustic kitchen furniture is the best especially when you use stone walls and other wooden materials.
